TOM SCHLEUNING
FOUNDER
Tom Schleuning's creative journey has been driven by a lifelong passion for storytelling, music, and meaningful human connection. A musician since the fourth grade, he has spent decades writing, composing, and performing music. His love of music led him to perform in multiple rock bands, including an appearance opening for the Sex Pistols while attending college.
That passion eventually brought Tom to California, where he founded and operated 3:33 Music Group under the Shady Acres Entertainment umbrella at Universal. Through the label, he signed and developed artists while helping facilitate soundtracks for films produced by acclaimed filmmaker Tom Shadyac.
Throughout his career, Tom has combined creativity with philanthropy, executive producing numerous charitable events, including The Art of Elysium's annual Halloween celebration, the Sunset Musical Festival benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the Pasadena Wine Festival benefiting the Pasadena Symphony.
A devoted film lover and storyteller, Tom has written multiple screenplays and short stories. His cinematic influences range from classics such as It's a Wonderful Life and The Shawshank Redemption to contemporary films like Past Lives, reflecting his appreciation for stories that entertain, inspire, and illuminate the human experience.
Tom believes that great stories have the power to foster empathy, strengthen communities, and inspire positive change. This belief became the foundation for co-founding 5th Eye Productions, where he is dedicated to developing films that resonate emotionally while remaining true to artistic integrity.

HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT
Gloria Gruber has dedicated more than 30 years to the arts as an actress, producer, and creative executive. A lifelong advocate for artists and storytellers, she is passionate about helping meaningful projects find their path from page to screen.
As Head of Development for 5th Eye Productions, Gloria oversees the development of feature films and television projects, working closely with writers, directors, producers, and talent to shape stories that resonate with audiences. Known for her collaborative spirit and unwavering commitment to creative integrity, she believes great storytelling has the power to connect people, build community, and inspire change.
